November is MALE YA MONTH the results of a challenge made to me by one of my guest following my successful YA Month of shows in January.
Are there enough YA writers and readers of YA literature out there to fill a month of "A Book and a Chat" shows?

I took up the challenge... contacting various YA bloggers to send me a list of some of their favorite male YA authors. The response was overwhelming with nearly every person I contacted agreeing to be on the program. Add to that a sprinkling of Male bloggers and Novembers "A Book and a Chat Month Male YA Month" (MYM) is born.

A Book and a Chat with Daisy Jordan

Today’s guest Daisy Jordan, grew up spending many summers at her grandparents house, banging away at an old typewriter as well as watching tennis on their very old TV. Those stories never seemed to get finished, but this did not stop Daisy from following her love of English, enabling her to graduate with degrees in psychology and English education.

Then came the first of her books, “Everything Happens for a Reason” produced in February 2004 is the story of a year in the life of a group of college friends: Jill, Hilton, Laney, Natalie, Todd, Adam, and Luke (to name the main ones).

Following the success of “Everything Happens for a Reason” Daisy actually went back producing a whole range of “prequels” in what was to become “Spin the Bottle” series about the heroes of “Everything Happens for a Reason” as they make their way in a set of four books through their high school years.

Next for Daisy came “All That Sparkles Isn't Real Sapphire” which is about are about Lorylyn's college life, experiences, and friends.

Finally in her new book “Love Means Zero” Daisy has been able to go back to her love of tennis and mix that with a follow up story about a few of her characters.

LOVE MEANS ZERO:

Love Means Zero is about Hilton, a recent college grad with a dead-end job at a portrait studio, unexpectedly landing a freelance role with Game Set Match magazine, which she refers to as “the Us Weekly of tennis.” Hilton has always dreamed of traveling the world and taking gorgeous photographs, and suddenly, she is doing just that. It’s about the best life she can imagine—partying with the players and their famous girlfriends, seeing fantastic tennis every day, and jetting off to a new place every week. But for her boyfriend Luke, it’s about the worst life he can imagine. He’s stuck at home in Indiana finishing law school, and the more Hilton’s gone, the less she seems to miss him. As he closes off from her and harbors a relationship-changing secret, Hilton, a happy-go-lucky believer in love and fate, laughs off her feelings for one of the world’s top-ranked tennis players as nothing more than a celebrity crush. But then, in one intense, heart-wrenching, thrilling, and thought-provoking moment, Hilton’s world turns upside down as she starts to see that love may not be as powerful or fate-determining as she thought.

During the show Daisy not only shared with us about her past work and writing experiance but also about the several new books she is currently working on.

So sit back and enjoy today's "Book and a Chat with Daisy Jordan".

A Book and a Chat with Jennie Helderman

My guest on today's A Book and a Chat is a woman to be hugely commended. Jennie Helderman was the first girl page in the Alabama State Legislature, she has made a huge contribution to helping out abused woman, by setting up her community’s first shelter for victims of domestic abuse.

From baiting fish hooks to telling stories there never seemed to be enough time for Jennie growing, up and even now her mind is full of stories she yet has to write. He life though has been more than interesting from her work with women’s issues and leadership, community development, public relations and communications, beginning in Gadsden, Alabama, and reaching to national levels. She has been a strong champion of women’s and children’s issues and additionally has worked with child abuse victims.

Along with that Jennie has travelled across five continents, made the pilgrimage of the Camino de Santiago de Compostella in Spain. In the summer of 2002, she worked as a photographer on an Earthwatch archaeology project at the Scavi in Pompeii, Italy. She’s hiked and rafted the Grand Canyon twice; visited 47 US states; climbed Mt. Vesuvius; photographed the Masai people and wild animals in Kenya and Tanzania; and recently toured China and Tibet. So as I said she has many stories yet to be produced.

After two successful coauthored nonfiction books, “Christmas Trivia” and “Hanukkah Trivia”. Jennie has now produced “As the Sycamore Grows.” a wonderful non-fiction story.

About “As the Sycamore Grows.”

Imagine sleeping with the enemy in the hills of Tennessee when the enemy totes a Bible and packs a .38. Mike shoved and slapped but his primary tools were isolation and economic abuseAE"until he discovered the power of the Lord. As the Sycamore Grows is a nonfiction narrative about ending the legacy of abuse. Ginger McNeil was brought up to pray and obey, but she escaped the padlocked cabin in the woods where she lived off the land with no electricity or telephone. Today she's a court advocate in the domestic court system. Her husband Mike admits the abuse, holds no remorse, and would do it all again. God made women to serve, he says. It's their job. Both Ginger and Mike speak, as do family, friends, ex-spouses, and others. Threading through the story is loss: the alienation of families, a spiritual void from betrayal by their church, and the death of the son Ginger had abandoned.

Jennie shared with us much about her life and the story behind her book, in a very interesting show.

So sit back and enjoy today's "Book and a Chat with Jennie Helderman ".

A Book and a Chat with Jenny Davidson

A short time ago, and old friend of the program, author of “Willow”, Julia Hoban contacted me about a friend of hers, who I have since found out was also a teacher of hers, who had a new YA novel coming out in November of 2011. The fact Julia mentioned that her friend and I were the “only two people of my acquaintance who know what ‘bubble and squeak' is, let alone have eaten it."

With a comment like that how could I not have her friend as a guest on the show?
This was doubled in “must have as a guest” when I found out this friend was none other than “Jenny Davidson"the author of the wonderful YA novel “The Explosionist” whose follow up novel “Invisible Things” comes out in November.

Jenny is a teacher, writer, numerous award winner, triathlon athlete, and one of the few people I’ve ever heard of who actually went to both Harvard and Yale (I thought there was a US law against that?).

Her first book a novel for adults, “Heredity” came out in 2003, to be followed by several nonfiction titles. Her debut YA novel “The Explosionist” hit the YA shelves in 2008, receiving many fantastic reviews, though as we heard during the show, not without a misunderstanding or two along the way.

The book is set in an alternative world, where Napoleon had one at Waterloo, and the French had been in power, except for a the northern countries such as Scotland, Denmark, Sweden etc. etc.

Jenny’s new book “Invisible Things” carries on the life of her hero 'Sophie', whose hair has now grown longer… (you’ll have to listen to the show to understand that comment) in late 1930’s French speaking Europe.

INVISIBLE THINGS:

Sixteen-year-old Sophie knows there is more to the story of her parents' death. And she's on a mission to find the truth. To aid her in solving the decades-old mystery, Sophie has enlisted her best friend, Mikael, whose friendship has turned into something more. It's soon clear that Sophie's future is very much wrapped up in the details of her family's past, and the key lies with information only one man can provide: her parents' former employer, the elusive billionaire Alfred Nobel.

As the threat of war looms in Europe, dangers to Sophie and her loved ones grow. While her determination to solve the mystery doesn't waver, forces beyond her control conspire to keep her from her purpose. Then, news of her great-aunt Tabitha's death sets off a chain of events that leaves Sophie questioning everything.

The more Sophie learns, the more she realizes that nothing—and no one—in her life is what it seems. And coming to terms with the dark secrets she uncovers means imagining a truth that she never dreamed possible. Full of gorgeous settings, thrilling adventure, and romance, invisible things is a novel that dares to ask, what if?

During the show we learned a lot about Jenny and her writing, and a few tips for would be authors and readers along the way.

So sit back and enjoy an entertaining thirty minutes of a "Book and a Chat with Jenny Davidson".

A Book and a Chat "YA Book Banning and Censorship"

Recently the book banners once again crawled out of their pits of nastiness to once again try to remove YA literature from classrooms and libraries. A certain Wesley Scroggins an associate professor of management at Missouri State University, and obviously standing for re-election for some post or other decided that Laurie Halse Anderson’s book “Speak” was “filthy an immoral”, he then classed it as pornography as the book includes two rape scenes, how a person can compare “pornography to rape” I just cannot understand.

Today I had two guests whose work has also suffered from “YA Book banning and censorship”

Ellen Hopkinson whose books include “Crank”, “Burned” and “Fallout” to name a few with a new YA verse book “Perfect” and her first adult verse novel “Triangles” coming out shortly, has been affected by such one person book banning events as happened to Laurie Halse Anderson. She explained how several authors had their books removed from a major book event in Texas, the response was so dramatic from the authors that the event in the end had to be cancelled. Yet she writes about subjects people need to know about, that YA readers welcome to educate them about life and it’s problems.

Ellen during a truly wonderful ninety minute share explained how time and again she is asked to talk about the subjects of her books, how she receives letters from people who have read her book and quit doing meth etc.

My other guest Sarah Ockler was mentioned in the same mindless rant of Wesley Scroggins, her debut book “Twenty Boy Summer” will soon be joined on the book shelves by “Fixing Delilah”. She was shocked at the statement by Mr Scroggins to what basically goes on all the time in schools, and was to be honest some very mild sex, where at least he r characters had condoms.

The show covered many aspects YA Book banning where one persons voice can control hundreds of people who disagree, where people who follow upon these complaints make decisions without even reading the book.

Take for example “The Diary of Anne Frank” a classic novel a standard for reading since even I was at school. One parent at a public school in Virginia made a complaint that “the book includes sexual material and homosexual themes.” And suddenly the 7,600-student school system in rural Virginia can no longer read the book. A person complained about Harry Potter in Texas and now that school nobody can read any science fiction/fantasy, how a school wants Huckelyberry Finn banned, the list goes on and on.

Judy Blume said it right when she stated

Let children read whatever they want and then talk about it with them. If parents and kids can talk together, we won’t have as much censorship because we won’t have as much fear.”

The whole aspect of education, sharing reading, how YA readers self censor and so much other chat from the guests and those listening in the chat room filled the show from end to end with fine discussion and education.

So sit back and listen or download an great show as I discuss "YA Book Banning and Censorship" my two special guests "Ellen Hopkinson" and "Sarah Ockler".

A Book and a Chat with Ann Jamieson

Ann Jamieson my guest on today's "A Book and a Chat" first started riding when she was five, from there she's not only become a rider of note but also a United States Equestrian Federation horse show judge licensed in hunters, jumpers and hunt seat equitation. She owns and shows her own horses in the amateur hunter divisions, and enjoys reschooling ex-racehorses for new careers.

She has written many articles for newspapers and magazine, but it took years of hearing stories about horses and riders before she finally realized that here was a book waiting to be written.

Ann has so far written three books in her “For the Love of a Horse” series, each one full of stories about horses and their riders, from the back yard pet to the horse of the year, Ann shares heartwarming true stories and explores the amazing bond between horses and people.

During the show she related to us numerous stories like the one about Crisco, the little pony who got stuck in a tree, Iroquois who was rescued from a slaughter house and has taken his owner to the highest levels of the show jumping world and stoic Soldier, who allowed his elderly owner to continue riding until the end of his life. The stories go on and on.

We talked about how things have changed from when she produced her first book and the various location were surprised it was not a “How To” book, until now when you contacts a shop they are actually more pleased to have another release of these wonderful stories.

Ann’s first book was closely followed by a second and third, and though she is taking a year off from writing to enjoy more competing with her horses, I am sure next year there will be a fourth book.

The “For the Love of a Horse” series are not only for dyed-in-the-wool horse lovers. It also serves as a bridge for those who love someone who loves horses, to help foster a better understanding of what that passion is all about. And for those who are just plain animal lovers, it helps bring greater awareness of why horses are such special friends.

So sit back and enjoy an entertaining thirty minutes of a "Book and a Chat with Ann Jamieson".

A Book and a Chat with William Link

Two Emmys, two Golden Globes, Lifetime Achievement Awards the list goes on and on for my guest today, the one and only William Link. From his only days drawing stories, producing his own comic books and creating his own super heroes, William went on to produce with his boyhood friend Richard Levinson fourteen on-the-air TV series. Columbo the short unkempt, shapeless raincoat, cigar smoking unassuming plainclothes detective was one of these. “Murder She Wrote, Mannix, McCloud, Ellery Queen, The Bold Ones and the Broadway musical “Merlin” the list just goes on and on.

The short and skinny Mr. Link met the tall and skinny Mr. Levinson—both of whom also liked doing magic tricks—on their first day of junior high school. Almost at once, they formed a team and began pulling fictional rabbits out of hats. They sold their first story to Ellery Queen’s Mystery Magazine while still in college; they wrote theatrical shows at the University of Pennsylvania; and, after a spell at the Wharton School of Business, they partnered to become TV writers

After Dick Levinson’s death in 1987, at 52, Bill continued writing in the short-story form he and his late partner had started with in their high school days. And in a lot of his tales, he cast Columbo as the hero. As Bill says... “He’s the most popular character we ever created; so why not?’”

Whereas most of the TV detective stories come from books, in this case the book is being produced after the TV show, as William launches his book “The Columbo Collection” a brilliant book of twelve new stories in which villains literary try to get away with murder only to find themselves up against the rumpled, crumpled but unflappable Columbo.

It should come as no surprise, perhaps, that the good lieutenant, after all these years, seems right at home between bound covers. Once again, the “Just one more question” statement reactivates those golden days of detective stories in this wonderful series of new stories.

From anecdotes to characters, from what he is writing now to how there was a school on investigation based on the Columbo way of getting to the murderer, the show was full of entertainment and enjoyment.

A Book and a Chat with Klarque Garrison

Born in LA, raised by a single mom, who made up for the lack of education with unconditional love, Klarque Garrison did not choose to be an author, it chose him. After many years as a successful real estate investor, the recession not only turned his life upside down, but started him on the path to realization that the inner voice which had always been needed to be listened to.

In his book “How to survive the next 365” Klarque takes the reader on a journey of understanding that it’s you the reader who truly hold the answers for a better life. His book is not one of those “7 steps to a better life” type of cure all books, it is no magic answer to how to have a better life. As we talked about on the program, everybody’s life is different with many ups and downs along the way.

What it does do is show you that there is no one way to reach greatness. We all have our paths and must find that path alone. Nobody knows what is inside each one of us. What it does do is enable you ask the right questions in order to find the one true answer!

How to survive the next 365” provides real life accounts of success failure and a combination of both, in a way to help you the reader.

During the show Klarque shared with us much about how the book came about and how it is something that can help each one of us find listen to that inner voice and start finding our own way to a better life.

A Book and a Chat with Steve Berry

Eleven million books in print, which have been translated into 37 languages and sold in 50 countries, that is the literary status of “Steve Berry” my guest on today’s “A Book and a Chat”. His novels have earned spots on The New York Times, USA Today, Publishers Weekly, and BookSense bestseller lists, but it was not always like that.

A practicing attorney (at the time), Steve has been writing since 1990, but it took him 12 years and 85 rejections (over five different editions) to finally sell a manuscript “The Amber Room” to Ballantine Books.

As Steve shared with us, though the first book picked up by a publisher, it was actually the fourth of the eight books he’d written at the time. This was followed by “The Romanov Prophecy” (his book 5) and “The Third Secret” (his book 6). All of which became best sellers. Not that the other books were wasted, as Steve shared, much of his other work has be plagiarized to produce some of his other works. So as Steve stated “Never though any of your work away”.

In 2006 Steve released the first of his Cotton Malone series which with “The Emperor’s Tomb” being released in November will number six, including such thriller classics as “The Templar Legacy”, “The Charlemagne Pursuit “ and “The Paris Vendetta”.

Along with his success Steve Berry has also been able to give back from his experiences from his struggling beginning and rejections to the success he now enjoys in the way of talks and seminars. “History Matters” is part of this is that he and his wife, Elizabeth, founded, a nonprofit organization dedicated to aiding the preservation of our heritage.

Also along the lines of giving back, Steve told us about an up and coming trip he is making as part of “Operation Thriller”. He is one of five of today’s most celebrated “Thriller Writers” will embark on week-long USO Tour to visit troops stationed in the combat zone in the Persian Gulf. The writers include Dave Morrell, Doug Preston, James Rollins and Andy Harp as well as Steve himself.

While not able to give us too much details about when this trip will happen, we discussed having Steve back on the show to share with us his own trip of adventure as well as how the launch of his new book “The Emperor’s Tomb” has gone.

We also gained a little information about the next book that this wonderful author will be launching in 2011, something that has me scanning the “Constitution of the United States” to see if I can find the lead that has lead to Cotton Malone’s next adventure.

From humble beginnings of working in a pet shop where Steve got “bitten, and stung by every animal you can think of”. To a globe travelling bestselling author Steve Berry is not only a fascinating and entertaining writer, but also a wonderful host to have on a radio show.

A Book and a Chat with Joshua Graham

My guest today Joshua Graham, for a concert cellist writes a mighty fine book.

His debut full length novel “Beyond Justice”, is not only proof that his calling is as much as a writer as a musician, also that the time spent as a graduate of the Master Classes and professional writing workshops he attended have really homed his skills.

From short fiction novels under various nom-de-plume’s, with “Beyond Justice” Josh has spread his wings to produce a book that is already on many Amazon best seller lists.

Josh shared with us during the show how an idea for this story quickly blossomed into this 400+ page novel, which has become such a popular read for all ages.

BEYOND JUSTICE:

In Beyond Justice, through Samuel Hudson we explore the depths of human character when his worst nightmares become a reality. His wife and daughter brutally raped and murdered, his son beaten and left for dead. And on top of all that, he becomes the primary suspect. This is for sure a legal/crime thriller but it also reaches at the core of one’s belief system. The most powerful themes in this story are loss, redemption, forgiveness and justice.

We heard how the opening chapters were hard to write Josh having to put himself in the position of Samuel Hudson, becoming the character and sharing the suffering the loss of his hero.

Now a full time writer, we learned about the other works either underway or needing that final bit of polishing, but as Josh stated, “Beyond Justice” has opened the door for him, and now I’m sure we’ll hear much more from this talented writer.

A Book and a Chat with Peggy Simms Lyles

My guest today, Peggy Simms Lyles, though enjoying writing through her life waited until she was in her “golden years” before suddenly having an idea for a book, and as we heard on todays “A Book and a Chat” sat down with pen and paper and in just a few days produced her debut novel “LILA: A JOURNEY OF LIFE AND LOVE”.

Peggy is one of those inspirational ladies who always have time to greet everyone she meets with a smile and asks, "How are you today!" Her love of people, passion for life and her creative ability enabled her to produce a story about maturing adults and the challenges they face, as their lives change. A story that many can, and do relate to.

As Midwest Book Review says about Peggy’s book…

LILA: A JOURNEY OF LIFE AND LOVE”

"When you have to set your own rules, life becomes more difficult. "Lila: A Journey of Life and Love" is the story of Lila Anderson, alone and unsure of who she is, having her place in life decided by others for so long. With a long road trip ahead of her, she soon finds that if you're not avoiding it, life will reveal itself to you very quickly. "Lila" is a remarkable read that many women will relate to.”

Peggy shared how many who have read and reviewed her book have told her how much it not has helped them. With a second book already on the way I’m sure we will hear more about Peggy Simms Lyles.

As Peggy stated during the show, actually getting the words down on paper nad being able to share them with readers, to help them come not just to terms with their own issues, but enjoy the story about Lila at the same time, brings its own form of gratification.
Her own belief in in God and family is there for all to see in “LILA: A JOURNEY OF LIFE AND LOVE."

A Book and a Chat with Jared Aragona

It is a while since I interviewed a person working on what can only be called an “epic saga” a term that many relate to some of the older books on mythology such as Beowulf. My guest today, not only has written the first three parts of such a saga, but the fact he also teaches “World Mythology” could point to the fact that these three parts will merge into one of the most epic science fantasy saga’s of all times.

Jared Aragona is author of the contemporary fantasy/sci fi book series Stories from the Circle and is a professor of English at Scottsdale Community College in Arizona where he teaches World Mythology.

"Stories from the Circle" is an adventure that takes readers to other worlds. Earth is just one world in a Great Circle of Worlds, and the series allows readers to observe those other worlds without the intrusion of humans because the Caretakers of Existence, the heroes at the heart of the stories, travel in consciousness to selves that concurrently exist on those other worlds. The books of the series allow readers to imagine the details of a greater macrocosmic system in the universe.

Those who enjoy reading fantasy fiction that takes the reader on a supernatural journey in consciousness will enjoy the hero quests of the Caretakers.

Jared started writing the first part of the “Stories from the Circle” in 1990, honing his skills over the years before going back to school in 1995 where further years of studying literature and mythology eventually led Jared to a Ph.D in English from the University of Arizona

So far there are three book in this nine book series.

Book 1 “Know Thyself” is a good introductory book that begins on Earth and eases you into a much more complicated galaxy of weird and wonderful planets. Interestingly written in 1st person and the text is directed at another character, Miles Dean (the guiding caretaker in this book) is writing to Luzciel to recruit her.

Book 2 “The Story from Riesa” takes you to the first of the different planets, with the main characters inhabiting a native from each place.

Book 3 “The Story from Oxinopses”, the 3rd and final book of this set takes you to yet another planet and is thought by many to be the best book so far.

To aid with reading these first three books, Jared shared how he has now brought them all together in a one new book Stories from the Circle: Apprentice a book that would make a great gift.

So sit back and enjoy a wonderful thirty minutes as we get the latest news about Jared and the "Stories from the Circle" series on a "Book and a Chat with Jared Aragona".

A Book and a Chat with Bruce Sarte

Already an accomplished songwriter with two gold records to his credit, my guest today Bruce Sarte spread his literary wings through his novels “Sands of Time” (being re-released), Sweet Nessie and Best Friends Forever, and now into the recently released first book in the paranormal mystery series “Towering Pines with book one Room 509“.

Bruce explained his past writing and how the likes of Shakespeare and Henry James help grow his love for literature that lead from the short stories to his now release.

“Towering Pines: book one Room 509

When high school superstar basketball player Liam Rider is sentenced to military school to serve out an aggravated assault charge, he thought his life was over. But when Lisbeth Harrington comes into his life she sparks feelings in him he didn't know he had. Suddenly pulled into the past of the historic school by nightmares of his own suicide, Liam and Lisbeth are catapulted forward into the hidden history of ghosts, suicide and murder.

Can they solve the mysteries of the military school before Liam becomes the next victim of the paranormal murderer?

The prologue to Room 509 sets the mood of the story, and I found that it immediately captured my interest with its haunting ambiance as well as the puzzle it poses. It lends the story tension from the very beginning, because as we get to know and like Liam, we already know what fate has planned for him. Bruce writes with a realism that makes the supernatural element seem almost plausible. He gives his readers vivid and descriptive scenes and multi-faceted characters we can believe in.

With another short story “Best Friends Forever” coming out as part of the ”Bump in the Night” set of stories, on October 15th, a follow up for “Sands of Time” already underway and another two books in the planned for the "Towering Pines” series planned, I am sure we’ll hear much more of Bruce Sante.

So sit back and enjoy a wonderful thirty minutes as we get the latest new about Brice and the "Towering Pines" series on a "Book and a Chat with Bruce Sante".

Corning in the past has been famous for its glass ware, but after October 16th all that will change, as that is the launch date for the now “award winning” audio book of "Alysa of the Fields".

My guest today “Tina Field Howe” was the guest on one of the earliest “A Book and a Chat” shows where she shared with us, not only about herself and her children book, but also then her latest release the first two book in the Xunar-Kun series. At the time we chatted about how she had one a grant to produce the first book as an audio book.

Since that time, both Tina and the wonderful cast who appear in the audio book have appeared on the show, and I also made the trip to Corning last December to meet the cast and take part in the first public presentation of the audio.

Now the final version of “Alysa of the Fields Audio Book” celebrates its launch on October 16th, where it all started in Corning NY. I might add this will be a great gift for people of any ages!

As normal chatting with Tina is not only enjoyable but a pleasure, learning about the way the book has grown into this final article. Not just a final article but an award winning final article.

As Tina shared with us, she will be attending a banquet in Las Vegas on November 6th, where "Alysa of the Fields Audio Book" will receive the 2010 Readers Favorite Gold in the Audio Book category.

A Book and a Chat with Todd Riemer

Todd Riemer is my guest on todays “A Book and a Chat” chatting about his debut novel “Inferno".

A Los Angeles native, Todd explained how he wrote the book over a two-year period and was highly influenced by such classics as "1984," "A Clockwork Orange," "Brave New World," "Waiting for the Barbarians" and "Fahrenheit 451." Mixed in with his experiences as a member of the Jewish-American community, and the study of the Holocaust.

Todd shared with us his aims and his desires in writing his book, how his worldly travels have given him insight into not just character development but also the sights, sounds and smells of his sensory writing.

ABOUT INFERNO:

Inferno, a dystopian novel, explores the social, political and economic forces that cause the breakdown of civilization; the incidents, people, and obstacles that seem to rip the world apart at its seams, test our ethics, and show us a vision of our environment inverted directly upon itself.

The book takes you through a post-apocalyptic future ruled by the
despotic Magistrates. The hero, Blum, quests to overthrow their
authoritarian regime in order to avenge the death of his lover, Isabelle.
Blum makes an unholy pact with the Midnight Man, putting his soul on the
line for the opportunity to kill those who have murdered his beloved. As he
struggles through Wasteland and Metropolis, he learns that even the price of
his soul may not be enough to redeem her.

As we discussed during an entertaining program, it is a book where one has to peel back the outer layers of sexual fantasy, mind altering religious connections and the horrific “purification” of the world to see the this vision of the future is frighteningly familiar to us all.

The wonderful cover of “Inferno” and the others items linked with the book on Todd’s web site also came under discussion, also the future productions which will turn Inferno into a trilogy.

So sit back and enjoy today’s throughly enjoyable “A Book and a Chat with Todd Riemer”.
