A Book and a Chat with Barbara Conelli

My guest today called in from Italy, which at this moment in time is in full swing with a national party after the Italian soccer team beat Germany in the semi-finals of the European Cup. As Barbara Conelli my guest said the country has gone totally mad, they are like Spain who they now play in the finals “soccer mad” The streets are full of people cars are driving around sounding their horns as Barbra well knows that no shops or even post offices will be open in the morning after tonight’s celebrations.

Barbra for those who can remember her previous visit to the show was a bestselling author at the age of four when her book she’d written became a big hit in local kindergartens. She turned into an overnight success that lasted for twelve exciting hours. Since then, she has never separated from her writing endeavors. Barb writes even in her sleep and she can often be seen sitting on her bed at three a.m. with a flashlight frantically processing her somnambulant ideas.

A born nomad and adventurer, she’s been there, she’s done it, and she’s not afraid to write about it.

Her travel books have become a huge hit sharing her love for all things Italian with the secrets and interest that will keep the reader turning the page.

Her previous book “Chique Secrets of Dolce Vita” which we discussed on a previous show has now been followed by “Chique Secrets of Dolce Amore”.

About “Chique Secrets of Dolce Amore”: (taken from Amazon)

Fascinating, enthralling and seductive travel and life tales about unexpected encounters with the capricious, unpredictable and extravagant city of Milan, its glamorous feminine secrets, the everyday magic of its dreamy streets, the passionate romance of its elegant hideaways, and the sweet Italian art of delightfully falling in love with your life wherever you go.

The book has already received further rave reviews keeping Barbara on her best selling path.

Now Barbara is back in Italy, at the moment in Rome where she is not only blogging about her travels, but also bringing together the details for her next book, this will then be followed by a spell in Venice preparing book four in the “narrative travel nonfiction” or rather travel stories range. A further trip to Sicily will I’m sure always divulge that countries secrets that will help become yet another bestselling book.

A Book and a Chat with Robert Bonville

Throughout history or what we perceive as history there are many questions for which there are numerous answers, depending to who you speak. These questions and the fact that we never stop learning or even discovering the past is what has us all at one time of another watching the History channel on TV. Indeed it was one such program that set today’s guest Robert Bonville on a discovery of his own.

Robert was destined to travel, being the son of a coast guard that was in his veins and his own forte into Coast Guard service enable him to be part of “Operation Deepfreeze 62" aboard an ice breaker in the Antarctic. This allowed Robert to visit numerous islands in the South Pacific both going, and on his return voyage. While visiting these islands, the "Spirit of Aloha" returned to his senses, staying with him, and being reinforced when he visited Maui and Kaua'i in the late 90's.

It was though after watching a program on the History Channel entitled "Who Really Discovered America?", that the idea for his book “Voyages of Malolo" came to him

The belief is that the Polynesians had visited places in South America and the west coast of the US, long before Columbus visited our hemisphere in 1492.

These intrepid and heroic peoples of the South Seas, spread their migrations eastward and northward from their origins in Asia, allowed them to discover and populate most of the 20,000 islands considered to be one of the last and final frontiers of habitable earth.

After almost two years of research, the story began to take shape and a year later Voyages of Malolo: "The Secret of the Rongo" was released.

About “Voyages of Malolo: "The Secret of the Rongo" (Taken from “The Range”)

When young Auka’i discovers a piece of driftwood from the east containing mysterious hieroglyphics, the “Rongo”, he and his people believe it is a message from the gods directing them to discover its meaning and the secret it contains. The young adventurer and his crew of uniquely skilled men build a large, double-hulled deep sea sailing canoe and sail east across the Pacific to the coast of Ecuador, more than 8,000 kilometers (5000 miles) from their island home.

Their nearly 3-year voyage of exploration, which ranges up to Mexico and California before heading west to Hawaii, finds them facing many hardships and dangers before returning for a final surprising conflict at home.

This captivating book transports the reader to the South Seas nearly 1000 years ago, as one reviewer put it…

Voyages of Malolo is exciting, fun to read, and teaches the reader about primitive Polynesian culture its language and customs. I couldn't put it down, and feel as though I now personally know the characters of the island Taea, and particularly the crew of Malalo!

A Book and a Chat with Bruce A Sarte

Musician and author Bruce A Sarte makes a welcome return to “A Book and a Chat” today. Previously Bruce was on talking about his vampire thriller “Sands of Time”, and paranormal murder mystery series “Towering Pines Volume One: Room 509”. Now he is back with a new string to his bow, one that looks like it’s going bring him even more success, judging by the reviews so far.

Already votes Night Owl Book Reviews TOP PICK for 2012 “The Philadelphia Story” the first book in his new detective series has been described as “like 1946's The Big Sleep was meeting up with a more modern version of Detective Phillip Marlow"

The book introduces us to private detective Lance Carter, and the series is planned to be standalone reading with a cast that you’ll know, as Bruce compared, a bit like the Sherlock Holmes stories.

About The Philadelphia Story:
(Taken from Amazon)

When private detective Lance Carter sipped his cup of coffee while admiring Independence Hall he had no idea where the day’s event would take him. With each sip of the blazingly hot brew his past comes closer and closer pulling him back to one moment in time that he thought was a closed case.

Together with his partner, Linc Diesel, Carter’s well-meaning conscience keeps digging holes that the two of them can’t fill.Who knew that a ten year old girl could bring the full force of Philadelphia’s Asian Mafia down on top of them?

Follow Lance as he roars through the city streets of Philadelphia while he battles the pain of lost love, missed opportunity, good deeds gone wrong and the ultimate battle with the seedy underbelly of Philadelphia!

Author Bruce A. Sarte’s third novel brings fast paced action and thrills! Look for Bruce’s other novels, Sands of Time, Towering Pines Volume One: Room 509 and The Star of Christmas.

This book is I am sure the start of a great run of successes and the reviews are already flooding in.

Readers Favorite stated…

"grabs you from the start and doesn't let you go"..."very well developed characters: both good and bad"...recommended to any lover of detective fiction"!

Following in the shoes of great detectives Lance Carter is I am sure going to prove a huge success.

As one reviewer put it…

I highly recommend Philadelphia Story to those interested in a good detective story, as well as those looking for something to stimulate the imagination. Whether you are new to the genre, or seasoned all the way back to the 1940's and 50's old school detective stories, this one is a must rea
d.

A statement I totally agree with.

A Book and a Chat with Barbara Ehrentreu

If I Could Be Like Jennifer Taylor” is the debut book of Barbara Ehrentreu my guest on today’s “A Book and a Chat”.

After years of teaching Barbara took a workshop as a requirement for my Master Degree at Manhattan Ville College with the late Paula Danziger. Required for that workshop was to write three chapters of a children’s book. So, taking her youngest daughters experiences Barbara with help and encouragement from Paula and later from her own critique group Barbara after many edits and rewrites produced her debut book “If I Could Be Like Jennifer Taylor”.

About “If I Could Be Like Jennifer Taylor”: (Taken from MuseItUp Publishing)

Carolyn Samuels is obsessed with the idea of being popular. She is convinced that the only thing keeping her from happiness is her too heavy for fashion body and not being a cheerleader. Hyperventilating when she gets nervous doesn’t help.
When she is paired for a Math project with the girl who tormented her in middle school, Jennifer Taylor, she is sure it is going to be another year of pain. With Carolyn’s crush on Jennifer’s hunky Junior quarterback Brad her freshman year in high school looks like a rerun of middle school.

After Jennifer’s the only student who knows why she fell in gym class, Carolyn is blackmailed into doing her math homework in return for Jennifer’s silence. Jennifer takes on Carolyn as a pity project since she can’t be seen with someone who dresses in jeans and sweatshirts. When Jennifer invites Carolyn to sleep over to make her over and teach her to tumble, Carolyn learns Jennifer’s secret and lies to her own friends to cover it up. Will Carolyn become a cheerleader and become popular? Does she continue to keep Jennifer’s secret? Or will she be a target of this mean girl again?

If I Could Be Like Jennifer Taylor is a book that covers many aspects of teen life, and perhaps not just teen, with many reader relating to Carolyn others to Jennifer and though written for girls ages 10 -14, it has also been enjoyed by older women, boys and men.

It is a book for all and one that already has quite a following

As one reviewer put it…

I pretty much only give 4-5 star reviews. If a story doesn't grab me opening chapters, with limited time, I set it aside. This debut novel hooked me opening page and didn't let go. I felt like I was completely immersed in Carolyn's world. Without an excess of drama or unrealistic focus on getting a boyfriend, clothes and makeup, this 14 year old told her story from the viewpoint of an honest kid who genuinely respected and cared for her parents. So refreshing! Her relationship, especially with her mom, was lovely in the fact Carolyn showed wonderful character growth by the last page, and the author didn't need to have abusive parents or hateful teenager to do so.

The hard topics of bullying, self-centeredness, serious health issues some young girls deal with, and so forth was all told so well I could go on and on, but I don't want to give away spoilers. The story left me smiling, certain more teenagers are actually like Carolyn, Jennifer and the rest, capable of doing the right thing, and because of that this novel is on my treasure and re-read pile. In all honesty, If I Could Be Like Jennifer Taylor is one of the best novels about teenagers I've read
.

A Book and a Chat with Charmaine Hammond

How does a playground peace maker, who went on to become a Correctional Officer use her communication, and conflict resolution experience to help children?

Charmaine Hammond's first career was as a Correctional Officer, after which she pursued her passion for conflict management, specializing as a dispute resolution expert

Now as the President of Hammond International Inc., Charmaine helps individuals, teams, businesses, government departments, and corporations improve resilience, and inspired performance.

When she and her husband adopted Toby, a five-year-old Chesapeake Bay retriever who proved to be a holy terror, little did she know what Toby would also bring and how he would take Charmaine almost full circle and lead her down a literary path that would become almost a cult following.

About “On Toby’s Terms: (Taken from Amazon)

When Charmaine and her husband adopted Toby, a five-year-old Chesapeake Bay retriever, they figured he might need some adjusting time, but they certainly didn't count on what he'd do in the meantime. Soon after he entered their lives and home, Toby proved to be a holy terror who routinely opened and emptied the hall closet, turned on water taps, pulled and ate things from the bookshelves, sat for hours on end in the sink, and spent his days rampaging through the house.

Oddest of all was his penchant for locking himself in the bathroom, and then pushing the lid of the toilet off the tank, smashing it to pieces. After a particularly disastrous encounter with the knife- block in the kitchen-and when the couple discovered Toby's bloody paw prints on the phone-they decided Toby needed professional help. Little did they know what they would discover about this dog.
On Toby's Terms is an endearing story of a beguiling creature who teaches his owners that, despite their trying to teach him how to be the dog they want, he is the one to lay out the terms of being the dog he needs to be. This insight would change their lives forever.

This book became an Amazon number one best seller and will soon be made into a major motion picture. It also enable Charmaine to raise a large amount for charity.

As ‘Jen Panteluk Director of Development Ronald McDonald House® Northern Alberta wrote…

On Toby’s Terms is a wonderful book and Charmaine Hammond has done an amazing job sharing their story of Toby. I completely admire what they have done with Toby – you’ll laugh, you’ll cry and you’ll walk away with some great life lessons. I highly recommend this read!’

Charmaine did not stop writing for her other job and has produced several help books as well as a follow up to “On Toby’s Terms”. “Toby, the Pet Therapy Dog, and His Hospital Friends”. This second Toby book beautifully illustrated by a lifelong friend of Charmaine’s, follows Toby the service dog for a day, and see how he makes friends with the children, helps make them happy and forget that they are sick and away from home.

With a new Toby book about bullying on the way and further TV and radio follow up the name of Charmaine Hammond will continue to be to follow, showing how lessons learned in the business world can also relate to the lives of children.

A Book and a Chat with Maria C Furlough

Speaking from experience it is hard for a parent to understand just how fast their children specially daughters grow up these days, more than that with all the pressure children and teens have on them from school, TV and the internet it is even harder for a parent to understand just what their child is going through.

My guest today Maria C Furlough knows exactly the sort of issues one comes up against, not just from her own experiences growing up but also with the young woman she meets and helps at her ministry.

Though she started writing when young and knew that her chosen path would lead her to share her thoughts and believes with others, it was not until after the birth of her first child that she finally decided she had to put all these feelings and thoughts onto paper.

Four years and two more children later her book “Your Daughter Needs a Hero” is out and proving to be a source of enlightenment and understanding not only to your girl but more importantly to their parents as well.

About “Your Daughter Needs a Hero” (Taken from Pump Up Your Book Promotions)

What drives teenage girls? What tempts them? What causes their insecurities? More importantly, what can parents do to make a difference in their lives? Author Maria Furlough battled self-image and self-esteem issues as a teenager, and in Your Daughter Needs a Hero she uses a mix of personal stories and years of experience counseling teenage girls in youth ministry to show parents what their teenage daughters are going through and how best to help them.

Furlough explains how things such as fad diets, the media, and pornography influence a teen girl’s body image, and she guides parents on how to counteract the constant pressures and influences that affect teen girls every day. This book will show parents how to effectively build their daughter’s self-esteem, self-image, and, most importantly, their faith in God and in their parents. If you have a daughter, Your Daughter Needs a Hero is a must read!

As one reviewer put it…

This insightful and inspiring book is a must for parents raising tween and teenage daughters. Maria touches your heart with her personal experiences which motivated her to write this book. Having raised girls myself, I am sorry I didn't have this book to help me be a better parent and to help instill the self worth that is so necessary and important for children to face the world as we know it today. God bless you Maria, for your vulnerability and courage in writing this wonderful primer for parents.

I totally agree with the part at the end stating that this is a must read, and I would add for mothers, fathers and daughters, in fact anybody.

A Book and a Chat with Dr Christopher Otiko

Dr Christopher Otiko has has lived on three continents (Africa, Europe and North America,) and has now been a guest on “A Book and a Chat”.

While he has written a a semi autobiographical book “LOST IN THE USA” it is only now that he is finaly embarking on what I expect to be a long and successful medical thriller writer.

In his book “Santa” , which as we learned is the first in a whole series of books, Dr Otiko takes his own experiences from his time living in London, the knowledge and anecdotes from his medical background and mixes them with the strong female character that one might find in a Sidney Sheldon book.

The result is "Santa" a new medical thriller whose hero is Kim Kramer, a white American female medical student, whose London internship places her in a whirlwind of action adventure, murder, lies and conspiracy. As well as the murder and thriller part there is a romance theme running though the book as well as a sprinkling of educational medical knowledge a cocktail that will please readers of all ages and sexes.

The book also provides unique insights into the British medical system, which is quite different from the American medical education system. The characters are already demanding a second in the series and Dr Christopher shared with us that there are already eight or nne planned and thought out ready to feed the demanding reader.

As I said this book is one that will appeal to everybody and I can see the clamoring for a follow up will have Dr Christopher Otiko soon creating the second third and fourth books for us to read and enjoy.

A Book and a Chat with Kim Purcell

My guest on today’s “A Book and a Chat” was due to be on the show a couple of weeks ago when I was unfortunately suck, so as I always try and do I added an extra show to have Kim Purcell back as my guest today.

Kim started out on the road to becoming a writer in fifth grade when her teacher Mrs. Aalto picked Kim for an enrichment class, in which the very proud Kim wrote her first book “The Mystery of the Poison Ivy”. While it was not a brilliant novel it did open the door to Kim’s imagination.

Her life after that first taste of literature followed numerous paths in many countries, with writing in some form and various languages being part of her life, being teaching, broadcasting or writing.

Kim’s love of teaching foreign students and basically chatting to people from around the world lead her to hear the story of Svetlana, a legal immigrant from Uzbekistan. We also heard during the show about Kim’s investigation trip to Moldova and what she experiences there.

Svetlana’s story, Kim’s experience and her own imagination have produced her fascinating YA novel called “TRAFFICKED”.

About TRAFFICKED: (taken from “wherethewriterscometowrite” blog)

When Hannah, a teenager from Moldova, is offered what seems to be the chance of a lifetime- the chance to go and work in America as a nanny, getting a huge wage every week and being able to study night classes and eventually become a doctor, she takes the plunge; after all, there's nothing keeping her in her home country, not since her parents died.

But, though her employee's seem nice at first, soon a much more dark side comes through and nothing is as it seemed. She's threatened with a terrible life and no future at all...

Now Hannah must fight for everything she holds dear, the most important thing threatened? Her life.

While the story of Hanah is fictional the problem, as we’ve learned in the pas from authors such as Kathi Macias, is very real with over two million people are victims of human trafficking every year.

The story has strong themes filled with reality including some sexual scenes, but it should be read, these are real goings on in your own neighborhood.

It is a book I highly recommend.

A Book and a Chat with Hunter Shea

We have had guest call in from up mountains, side of roads, standing outside in a rain storm and even from a restaurant, today’s guest making a welcome return to the show, Hunter Shea, called in from Books Without Borders event in Yonkers, NY. In fact we finished the show, all be it with one telephone hiccup just in time as when I called Hunter back after the show a band had just started playing making it hard to hear for the both of us.

Hunter as you may remember from his previous appearance on “A Book and a Chat” was weaned on TV programs such as The Night Stalker, The Twilight Zone and In Search Of, so it was inevitable he would head for the dark side creating literature of all things ghostly and beastly.

He has published several books and a slew of horror short stories over the years in magazines like Dark Moon Digest, Morpheus Tales, The Harrow, Tabard Inn, Deadline & Ethereal Tales, just to name a few.

Previously he discussed his debut no novel Forest of Shadows, which s available through Samhain Publishing and their new horror line, which has put Hunters name well on the horror map. In fact as Hunter shared during the show, there will soon be a follow up to this successful book.

Today though we were mainly chatting about his new book Evil Eternal, what’s been described as Gran Guignol at its best and bloodiest.

About Evil Eternal: (Taken from Frazer Lee’s Blog)

It’s a complete departure from my first novel with Samhain, Forest of Shadows. Evil Eternal is about an undead priest who is called from his home in the Vatican catacombs to fly to America to battle the recently resurrected demon, Cain (he of the Cain and Abel story).

Cain has a penchant for violence and demon-making and has taken on the flesh of the mayor of New York City. It’s Father Michael’s job to stop Armageddon, if he can. Along the way, he comes across a homeless guy named Shane who has special abilities he was never even aware of, and he’s reluctantly recruited in the ultimate battle. Poor guy is an atheist and now he’s fighting alongside God’s most treasured monster.
It’s very over-the-top with sweeping scenes of carnage, but it also has a heart and a bit of an untraditional love story. There have been many attempts at the angels vs. demons storyline, and I wanted mine to add a little more depth while maintaining a non-stop action pace.

As one reviewer put it…

In Hunter Shea's second Samhain release, Father Michael, the Vatican's ultimate weapon against demons, is called out to fight the eternal spirit of Cain, who has returned to spread death on Earth. Aimee DeCarlo and Shane Baxter, a young couple in New York City, are drawn into this epic battle between good and evil. The fate of the world may hinge on the outcome.

Set in interesting locations from Rome to Vermont, the scenes in New York City pop with detail that takes the reader right there. An accurate and creative application of Catholic theology throughout keeps the story from descending into the usual muddled mix of the secular and the religious that most angel/demon stories deliver.

If you like horror novel you are sure to like Hunter's Forest of Shadows, and you'll love Evil Eternal, look out for these and his future novels, you’d better get reading as you are officially two novels behind.

A Book and a Chat with Frances Gilbert

Another returning guest on today’s “A Book and a Chat” in the form of fellow CT (CAPA) author and also fellow ex Brit, Frances Gilbert. Previously Francis was on the show mainly chatting about her children’s books including the wonderful “The Cookie Thief”, a book that I know firsthand is extremely popular with children and schools.

Today though, we were mainly talking about the other side of Frances’s writing, perhaps her “darker” side and her wonderful psychological thriller “Where Is She Now?

Set in set in a fictional amalgam of two small English towns, the book is full of intrigue and mystery, full of twists and turns to keep any reader wanting to turn the page.

I will shamelessly share parts of a terrific review by Nina Sankovitch as she describes the book better than I ever could…

“… Gilbert’s writing is lyrical and clear. She does an excellent job portraying the fear and anxiety of someone shaken to the core by trauma, by guilt, and by helplessness in the face of very real danger. Gilbert takes her time creating Rosemary and her space in the world. Slowly, details accumulate and surely, the reader is drawn into the mystery of Rosemary’s child, the question of Rosemary’s sanity or insanity, and the struggle for Rosemary’s survival.

The final unraveling of the truth is unexpected, believable, and riveting. Kindness comes in the form of strangers while treachery begins at home. Where Is She Now left me gasping and roiling, breathless and blown away. This is a wonderful novel.

About “Where Is She Now?”: (Taken from Francis Gilbert’s Web Site)

Rosemary wants only to feel the calm promised in the hymns of her childhood, she wants to 'lay down her burden and enter in.' Cradling her green pocket book wrapped in an old green shawl, she wanders through her daily life with her husband Brian, her traumatized self, and her alter ego, the bossy and competent Anna. Something has happened in the past, centering on her baby, but Rosemary can't quite remember what it was. And where is the baby now?

As she oscillates between rational and delusional spells she seeks validation and support from the inanimate objects around her, the cups on the shelf, the knobs on the bedposts, the books in the bookcase, and the houses lining the streets. In her conversations with them we see a Rosemary who is not quite as deranged as she seems, and a Brian, not quite as supportive as he would like to have you believe.

We also learned during the show not only about a second thriller “She Should Have Come for Me” but also about a third “Murder in the Gun Room” which is currently under way.

Of course the question about about her much wanted flock of sheep as well as the collection of teacups also came up during the show, as well as is next for this talented Connecticut author.

A Book and a Chat with Dan O'Brien

From putting on plays at the age of six, Dan O’Brien my guest on today's “A Book and a Chat” has been heading down the path to literary fame. With ten novels, several screenplays, and an underway graphic novel, Dan has certainly been creating much to share with his readers. Compared to the likes of Jack London for his tenacity to produce as many stories as possible, this philosopher and martial artist enthusiast has written works that cross many genres and boundaries.

Some of his titles include...

Bitten: (Taken from Amazon)

A predator stalks a cold northern Minnesotan town. There is talk of wolves walking on two legs and attacking people in the deep woods. Lauren Westlake, resourceful and determined F.B.I Agent, has found a connection between the strange murders in the north and a case file almost a hundred years old. Traveling to the cold north, she begins an investigation that spirals deep into the darkness of mythology and nightmares. Filled with creatures of the night and an ancient romance, the revelation of who hunts beneath the moon is more grisly than anyone could have imagined.

The Ocean and the Hourglass: (Taken from Amazon)

Dreams are not for the faint of heart, they are for the brave to follow. A Book, an Hourglass. Nicholas had always dreamt of faraway places, distant lands beyond imagination. Wandering into the library on a cold day, he finds an adventure that he had not been looking for. Transported to a distant world, Nicholas finds himself involved in sweeping adventures of a broken and lost kingdom. Filled with sea giants and ancient cities, the young man soon finds that the adventure was greater than he could have ever imagined.

The Journey, The End of the World Play List and Deviance of Time, to novels just continue to flow from this prolific author.

Along the way Dan has further enhanced is literacy career becoming the editor of the ever growing in popularity magazine “Empirical

About Empirical:

A literary and current affairs magazine with the openness and pioneering spirit of the Pacific Northwest, Empirical aspires for truth by boldly introducing thought-provoking points of view and new paradigms. A forum for discourse on contemporary issues, the magazine is "radically empirical" in considering the broad range of human experience.

From these early successes I am sure the spread of the name Dan O'Brien in the literary world will just continue to grow.

A Book and a Chat with Lawrence J King

Finally recovered from my bout of stomach flu (nasty business) I’m back with today’s “A Book and a Chat” with my guest Lawrence J King, well actually not with Lawrence who was otherwise indisposed, but with is publicist and a very interesting person in her own right Jackie O’Neal.

Jackie shared with us much about Lawrence, his back ground and is writing during the show as well as some of her own background and “The Inter-Faith Spirituality Foundation Inc” which she is the executive director of.

Lawrence J King is a U.S. Army veteran, who has lived throughout Europe where he was a Martial Arts Instructor teaching Tae Kwon Do, the Korean style of Self Defense to the men and women of the Armed Forces, and a Specialist in Multi Channel Communications procedures with the United States Nato Armed Forces detachment Europe. He has his own radio talk show and is also a film actor.

His own life has had many ups and downs, and he has seen much of the underbelly of human existence, which he has shared with readers of his now eight published books. A motivational speaker of note, Lawrence’s non-fiction books, a true life product of the authors true life story, designed to inform and educate, as well as inspire and motivate people from all walks of life, especially those individuals with a less than perfect past.

Following such successful books as “Trials and Tribulations”, “Hate and Discrimination in America”, and “What The Hell Were You Thinking?” his latest offering “The Eye of Truth: Who is God?” is a book many will find of interest.

In the book Lawrence takes the perspective of 40 different people from all walks of life and situations to questions such as Who is God? Who is the Devil? Does God really exist? Do you believe in reincarnation? Where is Hell? Where Is Heaven? What is purpose on planet earth? Do you believe in Karma?

Each of these individuals, who normally would not even be asked such things, provide clearly defined responses which will make you think deeply and often as you read “The Eye of Truth; Who is God?
