A Book and a Chat with "Joe Vojt"

Joe Vojt is a life long Connecticut resident who began writing at an early age in spite of the many obstacles that challenged his writing processes. He joined the United States Air Force during the Vietnam era. His background includes serving four years in the United States Air Force with three years SAC experience. “There is nothing that can replace our freedom.” After his time in the service, he selected a career in manufacturing and got involved by putting his heart and soul into learning. This required determination and persistence. Working hard to become successful required having an educational background. Joe served as a board member for Connecticut Authors and Publishers Association (CAPA) and was the editor for the CAPA newsletter, The Authority. This included being a guest speaker at one of the CAPA meetings. Joe had the opportunity to be on a local radio talk show and a half hour TV program that covered his writing. He is also a member of the Connecticut Muse Literary Society. Joe has been recognized by Cambridge Who’s Who as an Honored Member.

He has published Threshold of Consciousness (second edition), Enduring Prophesy and Wings of Air (Outskirts Press). In addition, he has a vast collection of short stories.

A Book and a Chat with "Morgan Mandel"

Fridays show had it's technical difficulties with mobile phones and signals that came and went, today's book and a chat was delayed when my internet connection disappeared five minutes before the show.

Still my guest "Morgan Mandel" kindly waited as I waffled through the first few minutes of the show until I managed to get the internet working again.

Once I was able to talk to Morgan the show blossomed into one of information and enjoyment, as we learned about Morgan and her writing, her wonderful blogging help links and even her dog.

Born in Chicago, her reading developed from a children's magazines, through Cinderella, then Gothics, Harlequins, Dick Francis, Mary Higgins Clark, Katherine Stone and Sidney Sheldon. She was badly bitten by the writing bug when she saw a library presentation by Chicago-North Romance Writers of America. She joined the chapter. With much support, she learned what it takes to make a novel.

Her latest Killer Career is proving a very popular book for those who enjoy thrillers with a touch of romance.

So why not listen to this thirty minutes and find out all about Morgan Mandel and her writing as she is today's guest on "A Book and a Chat"
