A Book and a Chat with Renee Hand

On today’s “A Book and a Chat” I am very pleased to have making a return visit the wonderful children’s book author, Renee Hand.

Previously Renee appeared on the show chatting about her children’s series of books “The Crypto-Capers” the first book of the series “The Case of the Missing Sock” had just been released.

Since her previous appearance the talented author has gone from strength to strength producing “The Case of Red Rock Canyon” and “Legend of the Golden Monkey” books two and three of “The Crypto-Capers”. Renee outlined these books as well as sharing with us about two further books in this great children’s series.

As well as adding to the “The Crypto-Capers” range of books, Renee has started a new series of books for a slightly younger audience with “The Adventures of Joe-Joe Nut and Biscuit Bill” Case #1: The Great Pie Catastrophe.

This is another great educational series for young children. The reader will be reading and learning about various skills that will supplement what children will be learning about in school. In book 1 your child will begin to learn about deduction and reasoning as well as about animal tracks and some of the animals who make them. Book 1 is a cute and interesting story children of all ages will love.

From how the characters in her new books got their names after a family party to how the books are becoming a must for school libraries, “A Book and a Chat with Renee Hand” is a program all will enjoy.
