A Book and a Chat with Gabrial Valjan

My guest on today’s “A Book and a ChatGabriel Valjan was short-listed for the 2010 Fish Short Story Prize for his Boston noir, ‘Back in the Day.’ Gabriel’s short stories and some of his poetry continue to appear in literary journals and online magazines. He recently won first prize in ZOUCH Magazine’s inaugural Lit Bit Contest.

Gabriel moved from short stories to a full length novels with “Roma, Undergroun’ the first in his Roma series which has been followed by “Wasp’s Nest” and now his latest the thriller series “Threading the Needle”.

About “Threading the Needle: (taken from Amazon)

Milan. Bianca’s curiosity gets a young university student murdered, but not before he gives her a file that details a secret weapon under development with defense contractor Adastra. Guilt may drive her to find justice for the slain Charlie Brooks, but she is warned by the mysterious Loki to stay away from this case that runs deep with conspiracy. Bianca must find a way to uncover government secrets and corporate alliances without returning Italy to one of its darkest hours, the decades of daily terrorism known as the “Years of Lead.”

With a strong, captivating heroine and an allure of conspiracy and organized crime, “The Roma” series has already gained quite a following, and which with at least two more of the series already in the pipeline, looks to be continue to put the name Gabriel Valjan on the must read for thriller lovers.

So listen now and share an interesting, and entertaining show as I chat with my special guest today on A Book and a Chat with Gabrial Valjan
